EFCC Investigates Top Civil Servant, Ibrahim Tumsa Over NMulti-Billion Property Acquisition, Self Enrichment Charges

Information made available to societynowng.com revealed that Alhaji Ibrahim Tumsa, the Director of Finance and Accounts Federal Ministry of Works, Abuja is currently facing probe on allegations of corrupt enrichment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

Sources divulged that the development is the offshoot of a petition sent to the commission last year.

Part of the properties listed as acquired with ‘ill gotten’ wealth by the top civil servant are

1, A quarry plant in Kuje,Abuja allegedly worth over N500m

2, A farm worth about N800m along Biu to Damaturu road (Gujba) in Yobe State.

3, Building a mansion worth over N600m at Degel/Gobarau road Kaduna.

4, A factory that manufactures egg crates in Kakuri Makera Kaduna worth over N700m.

5, A Factory that produces and manufactures sacks and bags at Jabi, Abuja worth over N1b.

6, Other properties outside Abuja valued at about N3b.

Informants claimed pictures to back up the allegations decorate the petition.

The anti graft agency- is said to be to be taking the matter very serious.

A younger brother said to be a front for some of the businesses is said to be under surveillance.

The subject of the alleged corrupt enrichment investigation, Alhaji Ibrahim Tumsa refused to answer phone calls- or respond to text messages on the matter.
