‘Walking With A Swagger That You Would Think The Award Is Actually His’ Comedian Bovi Turned Albert Okumagba Representative Of Winner At Vanguard Awards To Victim Of Suppressed Laughter At A-list Event

Money man, Albert Okumagba was the butt of an expensive cracked by comedian, Bovi at an upscale event minutes ago.

The venue was this years edition of the annual Vanguard Man of The Year awards.

The Chief Executive Officer at BGL Securities was a representative of one of the winners of the awards on parade.

And when he was called upon to receive the award on behalf of the beneficiary – Okumagba himself a connected player in the corridor of powers made the journey to the stage with an infectious swagger.

A move that earned a retort from Bovi that drew quiet and suppressed laughter from the hall.

‘See walking with a swagger that you would think the award is actually his’ Bovi who co hosted the show spat into the microphone.

Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, the presenter of the award Okumagba stood in for the winner went on to add colour to Bovi’s gaffe at the expense of the wealthy Nigerian

‘Am sure you would do a good job representing …’ She told Okumagba on stage before handing over the plaque and certificate for delivery to the rightful owner.

The man on the receiving end of the societal misdemeanor and Chief Executive Officer, BGL Asset Management Company did not utter a single word as he received the award and left the stage.
