APC Offers Youths 50% Discount On Forms For By-Elections

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a 50% discount for youths interested in contesting the upcoming by-elections scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The elections, slated for August 16, 2025, will fill two senatorial seats, five House of Representatives positions, and nine state House of Assembly slots.

“Youths aged 25 to 40 years are to purchase the Expression of Interest form with a 50% discount on the Nomination form,” the APC stated in a notice signed by its National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

The notice, which outlines the party’s schedule of activities ahead of the August 16 polls, sets the form fees as follows:

Senate – ₦20 million (Expression of Interest: ₦3 million; Nomination: ₦17 million)

House of Representatives – ₦10 million (Expression of Interest: ₦1 million; Nomination: ₦9 million)

House of Assembly – ₦2 million (Expression of Interest: ₦500,000; Nomination: ₦1.5 million)
