Musa Sunday, Police Inspector Declared Missing 6months Ago Discovered Buried Alive Over Land Tussle

It has emerged that a detective attached to the Special Anti- Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command, Inspector Musa Sunday, who was declared missing six months ago was buried alive at Ibeju Lekki area while on an illegal duty.
The deceased and four policemen attached to SARS, according to report were allegedly drafted by their Admin Officer (AO) to a land in dispute, to take sides with one Prince against a traditional ruler.
It turned out that thugs fighting on the side of the monarch, overpowered that of the Prince and the policemen, and they fled to safety abandoning Inspector Sunday who was captured.
In the incident, which happened sometime in November 2016, Inspector Sunday, a father-of-four, was reportedly beaten mercilessly, denied food for five days, and ultimately buried alive.
One of killers simply identified as Arokin is currently in police detention while the traditional ruler, a Baale was said to be on the run.
Police source said Arokin has confessed to the crime.
