Goodluck Jonathan To Perform Groundbreaking For Bayelsa’s New Stadium

Former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, will tomorrow, Monday, 17th February, 2025 perform the groundbreaking for the construction of a new 25,000 capacity stadium in Igbogene, Yenagoa by Noon.

This will form part of the 5th anniversary of the Prosperity Administration under Governor Douye Diri.

Also tomorrow, the Governor will by 4pm perform the kick-off for the 2025 Edition of the Prosperity Football Cup, the biggest grassroots football tournament in Africa at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Ovom.

Also at 3pm tomorrow, the Governor will lead members of the State Executive Council to play the Lawmakers in a novelty football match to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the current administration in Bayelsa State.
